WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects that accelerate the deployment of high-voltage transmission facilities that will best serve the national interest by cost-effectively increasing resiliency and reliability, reducing energy bills for households and businesses by increasing access to lower-cost electricity, increasing inter-regional transmission capacity, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting economic growth and energy justice. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to authorize funding to eligible entities to provide training, research, and technical assistance to facilitate the inventory of brownfield sites, site assessments, remediation of brownfield sites, community involvement, or site preparation. Grants awarded under this solicitation will help communities, organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, and individuals tackle the challenge of cleaning up and revitalizing brownfield properties. This program provides funding to organizations providing pre-apprenticeship services that support education, occupational skills training, and employment services to at-risk youth, ages 16 to 24, while performing meaningful work and service to their communities.
